With only a couple weeks of rest coming into my next bout, I knew I would have to elevate my training. Compounding different forms of exercises was part of the program. I set-up training practice with a local professional Champion of Muay Thai who corrected some of my faults. He too was getting ready for a fight the following day.

After four short weeks of preparations, I was underway to cutting 15 pounds in 20 hours. This is all part of the game and making weight is challenge in its own division. Water dehydration and food depletion is essential strategy. You get 24 hours to replenish prior the event, so I used it wisely.

Stepping into the ring, I already knew what I had to do. It is already there, I planted the seed. My out-put was explosive- not to injure, only to disarm. Finished in the first round, my hand was raised. My opponent had larger shoulders and my height. I knew it could have gone either way, but I went for it this time.
