On May 24, 2014, Miss Universe Canada was officially announced. The Caledon native, Chanel Beckenlehner, has demonstrated relentless efforts and is a prime example of what it truly means to achieve your goals. While recently acquiring her Masters degree at the University of Toronto, Chanel has managed to maintain her devotion to her priorities: hosting charitable fundraisers, equestrian training, her passion for pageantry and her health and fitness goals.  How did she do it? Faced with her share adversity, Chanel admits that her pursuit has proven to be both physically and mentally arduous. She recognizes the need to continuously make everyday productive and understands that this means exuding a wining attitude and a positive perspective towards the future. Four times a week, one could find Chanel at Innovative Fitness at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Downtown Toronto. She shows up with her game face on, focused and ready to conquer every difficult obstacle thrown her way. Her infallible work ethic both in and out of the gym explains exactly why she will be representing Canada at the much-anticipated Miss Universe 2014 pageant.
