Reformer Pilates is low-impact, strength-focused training designed to help you move better in everyday life. Using spring-based resistance, it builds core stability, improves mobility, and enhances posture. You’ll leave feeling longer, stronger, and more connected to your body. Our studio has 8 high end Merrithew V2 Pro Max Jet Black reformers with towers, jump boards and tons of other props to deliver creative workouts for you, every class.

IF Pilates 101 (Intensity 2/5)

Required intro class for all new members. Learn the reformer, studio flow, and foundational movements so you feel confident and safe from day one.

RECOVER (Intensity 2/5)

Gentle, stretch-focused reformer class designed to release tension, improve flexibility, and support recovery.

Essence (Intensity 2.5/5)

Foundational full-body class focused on breath, alignment, and control. Ideal for beginners or refining technique.

EXPERIENCED

Empower (Intensity 3.5/5)

Dynamic, strength-focused reformer class with athletic sequencing. Best for those with prior reformer experience.

Amped (Intensity 4/5)  

High-energy, jumpboard cardio class that’s joint-friendly but sweat-inducing. Prior intermediate experience required.  

Core & More (Intensity 4/5)  

Sculpt-focused class targeting abs and glutes with powerful, athletic sequences.

ADVANCED

Elevate (Intensity 4.5/5)

Low-impact HIIT-style reformer class designed to build stamina, strength, and endurance.

Summit (Intensity 5/5 – Approval Required)

Elite-level reformer training for experienced members only. Complex, intense, and earned.

PLUS++ (Intensity 4–4.5/5)

80-minute extended versions of your favorite advanced classes for deeper endurance and strength work.

GETTING STARTED

Is IF Pilates suitable for beginners?

Yes! We offer a range of class levels designed to help you progress at your own pace, with instructors providing guidance and modifications along the way. We also offer intermediate and advanced classes for those looking to elevate their practice.

Do I have to be an IF personal training member?

No. IF Pilates is open to everyone! We welcome all levels from beginners starting their pilates journey to seasoned vets.

Do I have to sign up for a certain amount of classes?

We have a variety of options from drop in (with zero commitment) to a fully encompassing unlimited membership and everything in between.

BOOKING & POLICIES

How far in advance can I book?

Classes can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
You can book a class right up until the start time.

cancellation policy?

We require at least 12 hours notice to cancel a class without penalty.
In the case of a late cancellation or no show, the class credit will be deducted from
your account. If you are on an unlimited package you will be charged a $15 fee.

Membership cancellation notice?  

We must be notified of any changes or cancellations prior to the auto-renewal of your membership.

Freeze policy?   

No. We don’t charge a fee for freezing your membership.

ARE Grip socks required?    

Yes. For safety and for performance on the reformer.
If you do not have any, we have lots of cute colours and styles
available for purchase!

When should I arrive?   

Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class. For safety reasons and class disruption, entry will not be permitted more than 5 minutes after the class begins. If the curtains are closed, the class is in session and no further entry will be allowed.

LOGISTICS

Parking?

The parking lot at Innovative Fitness is prioritized for personal training members. There is ample parking available at Rocky Point, Moody Centre station and along Murray Street.

Are classes for men?

Big time! We have lots of men who come and do pilates with us.

Corporate/
private bookings?

Yes! We host special classes all the time for things like corporate teambuilders, birthday parties, etc.

Will Pilates improve sports performance?  

Yes 100%! Pilates improves your mobility, posture, stability and core strength for sports like golf, hockey, skiing or tennis.
